Meadowlake
Farm is a member of the National Resource Defense Council,
United Plant Savers, the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation and the American Botanical Council.
Our founder holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and dual degrees in Architectural and Construction Design. She's
enjoyed long careers as a Commercial Architect and Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. After founding Meadowlake Farm Products
she was invited to become a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists. Long before organics and sustainability came
into vogue she established Meadowlake Farm, driven by her dedication to a healthy lifestyle, her love of science and commitment
to environmental and ecological concerns.
Our
herbalist holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is a Certified Family Herbalist.
Prior to the pursuit of Herbal Medicine she enjoyed a 30 year career in Health Care Administration and as a Medical
Rehabilitation Specialist. She served as a wound care consultant on a trauma-rehab team, being highly skilled in the
management of diabetic amputations and ulcers, crush injuries, Compression Syndrome, gas gangrene, radiation tissue damage,
compromised skin grafts and flaps, pressure ulcers and necrotizing infections including herpes, MRSA and VRE. She authored
clinical pathways used nationally in the standardization of patient care.
Our apiarist
is one of few beekeepers in our nation who employ organic hive management techniques. His expertise is diverse, enjoying
careers in business, as a skilled tradesman as an organic apiarist and a long time organic gardener. We are proud to
be the owners of Meadowlake Farm. To protect its habitat and its creatures and to live as one with the fruits of our
labors. We are proud of the work we've done to bring our unique skills and shared vision together in a way
that has allowed us to evolve into a skin care company recognized for producing unparalleled products within the framework
of a self contained sustainable farm.
